R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 1915 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO G. NEWBERG TO <br />ALLOW 3' FRONT YARD AT 209 LEXINGTON <br />AVENUE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Redwood City has sub- <br />mitted the application of G. NEWBERG for a variance with the <br />recommendation that such application be granted in accordance <br />with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 600, said ordinance being, the <br />Zoning ordinance of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Said Council finds that the following conditions exist: <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, build - <br />ing or use referred to in the application, <br />which circumstances or conditions do not <br />generally apply to lands, buildings or uses <br />in the same district. <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the <br />petitioner. <br />(c) That the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare or the health <br />or safety of persons residing or working in <br />the neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to G. NEWBERG a variance <br />to allow a three foot (3' ) front yard for the side of a garage <br />at 209 Lexington Avenue, Redwood City, California, upon the <br />express condition that all construction shall be completed not <br />later than six (b) months from the date of this resolution and <br />that all construction shall be strictly in accordance with the <br />plans heretofore approved by the Council and Planning Commission <br />of Redwood City, <br />
