RESOLUTION N0. 1954 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO A. L. WALTER TO <br />ALLOW EIGHT FEET BETWEEN HOUSE AND <br />GARAGE AT 414 FLYNN AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Redwood City has sub- <br />mitted the application of A. L. WALTER for a variance with the <br />recommendation that such application be granted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City has considered said <br />application for variance in accordance with Section 20 of <br />Ordinance No. 600, said ordinance being the zoning ordinance <br />of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Said Council finds that the following conditions exist: <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, building <br />or use referred to in the application, which <br />circumstances or conditions do not generally <br />apply to lands, buildings, or uses in the same <br />district. <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial ..property rights of the <br />petitioner. <br />(c) That the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare or the health <br />or safety of persons residing or working; in <br />the neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants a variance to A. L. WALTER <br />to allow construction of a garage at 414 Flynn Avenue under the <br />following terms and conditions: <br />(a) No portion of patio roof to be closer than <br />twenty (20) feet from the rear property.:line. <br />(b) No storage of paint supplies shall be permit- <br />ted except that actually used on the premises. <br />(c) Fences shall be altered to conform to the <br />provisions of Redwood City ordinances. <br />(d) All construction shall be strictly in accordance <br />with the plan heretofore submitted to and <br />so <br />
