<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 2105 <br /> <br />CONFIRMING villED ABATEMENT REPORT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council of Redwood <br /> <br />city, the City street Superintendent of Redwood City was ordered <br /> <br />to abate the weed nuisance in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WnEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to <br /> <br />the Council of Redwood City for confirmation an itemized report, <br /> <br />which report shows the cost of removing such weeds from or in <br /> <br />front of each separate parcel of land from which said weeds were <br /> <br />rem.oved; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as appears from the affidavits on file, a copy <br /> <br />of said repol~t was posted in the manner required by Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 748 and a notice was published giving notice of the filing <br /> <br />of said report and the hearing thereon in the ,time, form and <br />manner required by law; <br /> <br />NO\'\J, THEREFORE, 'I1HE COuNCIL OP REDWOOD CITY HEREBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOv.JS: <br /> <br />1. That the itemized report of the Superintendent of <br /> <br />Streets of the City of Redwood City showing the cost of removing <br /> <br />weeds on each separate lot or in front thereof in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City is hereby confirmed and the cost of removing said <br /> <br />vleeds from or in front of said separate lot shall consti tute a <br /> <br />lien on such property for the amount of such assessments until <br /> <br />paid. <br /> <br />2. That a copy of said report shall be delivered to the <br />Tax Collector of Redwood City who shall add the amounts of the <br /> <br />assessments to the next regular bill for taxes assessed against <br /> <br />said lots, and that hereafter said assessments shall be collected <br /> <br />at the same time and in the same manner as general City taxes <br />are collected and shall be subject to the same interest and <br /> <br />-1- <br />
