RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. 2151 ---------- RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A COpy OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS HIGHLANDS TERRITORY No.7, AND OF AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF; AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, on November 28 , 1956, there was riled with the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City a copy of "Notice Of Intention To Circulate A Petition For The Annexa- tion, Pursuant to The Annexation Act of 1~13, To The City of Redwood City Of Certain Inhabited Territory Designated Highlands Territory No.7", wherein proponents therein named give notice of their intention to circulate, within the territory above designated and hereinafter described, a petition asking that said territory be annexed to the City of Redwood City as inhabited territory pursuant to the AnnexatiQn Act of 1913, and wherein a written statement is included containing reasons for the petition; and, WHEREAS, on said-date there was also filed with the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City an affidavit of publica- tion of said notice on November 22, 1956, in the Redwood City Tribune; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby acknowledge receipt of said notice of intention and of the statement of reasons included therein, and of the aforesaid affidavit of publication; and said Council does hereby approve the circulation, twenty-one days after publi- cation of said notice of intention and statement af reasons, of the aforesaid petition within the above designated and hereinafter described territory. The abovementioned and above designated territory is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo, state of California, bounded and described as follows, to wit:
