07/09/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1427o <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />TRAFFIC SIGN SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of traffic sign supplies and materials for the Department of Public <br />Works Services in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, four bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Western Highway Products of Stanton, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />accept the bid of Western Highway Products; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Western Highway Products for the purchase of traffic <br />sign supplies and materials for the City of Redwood City, in the amount of <br />Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Thirty -three and 50/100 Dollars ($16,333.50) <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 13, 2001, is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said supplies and <br />materials. <br />Reso -1192 1 <br />DES:fl <br />R /Shared /Redwood/Council <br />06/26/01 <br />
