<br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />MO. 94-067 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: March 14, 1994 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br />City Attorney <br />Task Force <br />Assistant to the City Manager <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Defer Restoration of Historic Theatres Item to a Future Meeting <br />(1307-01) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on March 14, 1994 <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Claire, Gasparini, Greenalch, La Berge, Sanfilipo, Steinfeld <br />and Mayor Buchan <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br />MIS: STEINFELD/CLAIRE TO DEFER THIS ITEM FOR A FUTURE <br />MEETING <br /> <br />Council members discussed if or how Redevelopment Agency funds should <br />be spent on a building owned by a non-profit organization, including the idea <br />of an equity interest and a reversionary clause. Councilman Greenalch <br />suggested several steps including having PCS do its own capital <br />improvements assessment of the Fox, and removing the designation of <br />$300,000 for the Fox Theatre from the Redevelopment Agency budget. <br /> <br />Councilman Claire withdrew his second, and the motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br /> <br />~~.~ <br /> <br />Arlyn C.
