04/26/2010 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15018 <br />and <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY MAKING APPROPRIATIONS AND <br />TRANSFERS TO THE FY 2009/10 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, a 2009 -2010 Budget was adopted by the Redevelopment Agency; <br />WHEREAS, periodic appropriations and transfers are required to make <br />necessary adjustments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The 2009 -2010 Redevelopment Agency Budget is amended by the approved <br />appropriations and transfers as follows: <br />a. Appropriate $95,000 of unappropriated proceeds from the 2003 Tax <br />Allocation Bond issue (Fund 809) into an Acct. called Courthouse Square <br />Improvements (Acct. No. 809 - 71794). <br />b. Appropriate the remaining unappropriated proceeds in the amount of <br />$111,798 from the 2003 Tax Allocation Bond issue (Fund 809) and <br />consolidate the remaining $54,993 in the existing projects that are not <br />encumbered (Acct. Nos. 809 - 71843, 809 - 71853, 809 - 71873, 809 - 71883, and <br />809 - 71893) into a new project called Downtown Streetscape Improvements <br />(Acct. No. 809 - 71795). <br />c. Transfer and appropriate a total of $300,000 from three existing capital <br />projects into a new program called Economic Development Stimulus Plan <br />(Acct. No. 807 - 71796). $100,000 will be taken from Critical Pioneering <br />Project (Acct. No. 803 - 71263), $100,000 from Hoover Mobility Project (Acct. <br />No. 803 - 72034), and $100,000 from Contingency (Acct. No. 803 - 76000). <br />d. Transfer $200,000 from an existing project called Transit Connectivity Project <br />(Acct. No. 803 - 72023) into the existing Downtown Development Programs <br />(Acct. No. 807 - 66429) to fund the 2010 Salsa Festival, Zoppe Circus, and <br />Bruce Labadie's contract. <br />e. Accept and appropriate a $30,000 grant from Target Corporation to the <br />Agency for the Target Family Days. The Agency will use the funds to host <br />three themed family concerts in the downtown and shall be deposited into <br />Fund 807. <br />ATTY /RESO /RESO.2007 #15018 <br />041310 MUFF # 404 <br />
