<br />~ <br /> <br />...... <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />S~\TC: wb 10/1/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />8 713 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 7 1980 <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, California Housing Finance Agency (CHFA) acting <br /> <br />under the authority of the Zenovich-Moscone-Chacon Housing and <br /> <br />Home Finance Act, Division 31, (commencing with ~50000) of the <br /> <br />Health and Safety Code of the State of California, and the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City desire to institute a program of financial <br /> <br />assistance and provide related services to assist persons of <br /> <br />low and moderate income to obtain decent, safe and sanitary <br /> <br />housing through the Home Ownership and Home Improvement Program; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CHFA has approved an application submitted to it <br /> <br />by the City of Redwood City for the City's participation in the <br /> <br />above mentioned Home Ownership and Home Improvement Program <br /> <br />within the concentrated Rehabilitation Area designated as <br /> <br />Middlefield Housing Concentration Area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agree- <br /> <br />ment for the City's participation in the aforesaid program and <br /> <br />it is the desire of this Council to approve said agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "California Housing Finance <br /> <br />Agency Home Ownership and Home Improvement Loan Program (HOHI) <br /> <br />Local Government Agreement, II by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and the California Housing Finance Agency (CHFA), a copy <br /> <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />
