MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> September 16, 1996 <br /> MO. 96-226 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: September 19, 1996 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Laurel Way Appeal (603) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on September 16, 1996. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan,Claire, Howard, La Berge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Hartnett <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: CLAIRE/BUCHAN TO TABLE THIS ITEM TO SUCH TIME, HOPEFULLY <br /> QUICKLY, WHERE THE APPLICANT AND CITY STAFF CAN LOOK AT THE <br /> POTENTIAL OF COMBINING AND WORKING WITH THE OTHER PROPERTY <br /> OWNERS ON DEVELOPABLE PROPERTY IN THAT AREA TO SEE IF THERE <br /> CAN BE A FUNDING MECHANISM DERIVED FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> IMPACT REPORT, AND ALSO GIVE STAFF A CLEAR INDICATION THAT <br /> THERE CAN BE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CITY TO PARTICIPATE 1N <br /> THAT FUNDING GIVEN THE FACT THAT LAUREL WAY WOULD HAVE TO <br /> BECOME A DEDICATED STREET AT SOME POINT; THE PORTION OF THAT <br /> FUNDING SHOULD NOT EXCEED THE PORTION OF LAUREL WAY THAT <br /> WOULD BE DEDICATED TO THE CITY. <br /> <br /> The maker of the motion, Councilman Claire, withdrew his motion and the <br /> seconder, Councilwoman Buchan, withdrew her second. <br /> <br />Arlyn C.
