MINUTE ORDER <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> September 16, 1996 <br /> <br /> MO. 96-223 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: September 19, 1996 <br /> <br />Attemion: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Council <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Cancellation of the regular Council Meeting of October 14, 1996 <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on September 16, 1996. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan,Claire, Howard, La Barge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Hartnett <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> E. Councilman Leipzig suggested cancellation of the Council meeting of October <br /> 14, 1996 due to the absence of significant items for Council consideration, and <br /> other events scheduled for that evening, including the annual convention of the <br /> League of California Cities in Anaheim and the 49er versus Green Bay football <br /> game. Mayor Hartnett added that the Chamber of Commerce annual golf <br /> tournament and fund raiser for Kainos was also scheduled for that day and <br /> evening. <br /> <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Hartnett determined it was the consensus of the <br /> Council to cancel the regular Council Meeting of October 14, 1996.
