AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL AUDITING SERVICES <br /> [MAZE & ASSOCIATES] <br /> <br /> THIS <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> ,.is made and entered into this ':5'--¢ day of <br />~ ~ , ~by and be~een the CITY OF REDWOOD Cl~, a cha~er city <br />/" <br /> / <br />~nd m~nicipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and M~E AND <br />ASSOCIATES, an Accountancy corporation, of Walnut Creek, California ("Consultant") <br />(collectively the "Patios"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires special auditing so.ices for conducting an audit of the <br />General Improvement District Facility Fee Construction Fund (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to pedorm the aforesaid so.ices for the Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the patios agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall pe~orm professional auditing <br />so.ices described in Exhibit "A," a~ached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all so.ices pedormed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rotes that am prevailing during the time of the pedormance of <br />said so.ices and as set fo~h in Exhibit "A." <br /> <br /> No~ithstanding the foregoing, the combined total of compensation and <br />reimbumement of costs payable hereunder shall not exceed the sum of Twenty <br /> <br />F:Affy/Agr/Agr.069 1 <br />082702 <br /> <br /> <br />
