11/16/98 <br /> - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2153 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 18.234 THROUGH 18.243 TO <br /> CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> RELATING TO LOCAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS <br /> <br /> The Council of the City of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Sections 18234 through 18243 are hereby added to the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Article XlV. LOCAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS <br /> <br /> Section 18.234 PURPOSE: The purpose of this Article is to provide for the <br />planned extension and repair of utility and street improvements upon the construction <br />of new buildings (residential or commercial) or tenant improvements or the substantial <br />remodeling of Existing Buildings. <br /> <br /> Section 18.235 DEFINITIONS: For the purposes of the Article, the following <br />words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this <br />Section: <br /> <br /> Existing Building: The building, where Tenant Improvements or substantial <br />remodeling will be performed on the date of the application for the Building Permit. <br /> <br /> New Building(s): Any construction of a building, or buildings exceeding 500 <br /> <br />square feet, or Parking Facilities with an estimated value of $50,000 or greater. <br /> Owner: The owner or owners of record of the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> Parkin,q Facilities: A parking lot or parking structure for five (5) or more parking <br />spaces. <br /> <br /> Property or Subject Property: The real property which is being approved. <br /> <br />Ord-045 <br />f/sh/sh/RC/Council <br /> <br />09/16/98 <br />FXS:rg <br /> <br /> <br />
