AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> [RENNER SURVEYING & ENGINEERING] <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ,,.~'~(~ day of <br /> <br />~, 2003, by REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br /> and <br /> between <br /> the <br /> CITY <br /> OF <br /> <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and RENNER <br />SURVEYING & ENGINEERING ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to replace approximately 13,8§0 feet of water main in <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />surveying and engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall prepare base map <br />construction documents and perform surveying and engineering services further <br />described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br />herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
