RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- OCT 12 '1G I RESOLUTION APPROVING fu~D AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMEN'r ~'lITH SOUTHERL"'I PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COHPANY .(BUS 'fERNINAL AND SHELTER) WHEREAS, the city of Redwood City requires a bus terminal and shelter in connection with the operation of its municipal transportation system; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this council an agreement by and between the Southern pacific Transportation Company and the City of Redwood City for the leasing of a certain area as delineated in said lease agreement, for the construction, maintenance and use of certain improvements and facilities as a bus terminal and shelter, for a term of five years, rent-free, subject to certain terms and conditions as set forth in said lease agreement; and WHEREAS, this Council finds that the said lease agreement meets the requirements of the City, and desires to enter into said lease agreement; NOW' , THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RED~'lOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: , -) 1. That certain lease agreement by and between the City of Redwood city as lessee, and the Southern pacific Transportation Company, as lessor, a copy of which is on, file with the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the said lease agreement for and on behalf of the city ~ of Redwood City~ * * *
