<br />DES.ek 10/8/70 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIG1N.AL <br /> <br />~ <br />.. <br /> <br />OCT 12 010 <br /> <br />.,i <br /> <br />RE,[OL!:[T1.0N <br /> <br />N o. ~.:i'fP~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH <br />CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS RELATING TO THE STRATEGIC <br />CONSOLIDATION SEWERAGE PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a letter <br />agreement for legal services to be performed by the law firm <br /> <br />of Rogers, Vizzard & Tallett in connection with certain con- <br /> <br />demnation proceedings initiated by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />relating to the Strategic Consolidation Sewerage Plan: and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that such services <br /> <br />be obtained by the City of Redwood City: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the firm of Rogers, Vizzard & Tallett, San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, is qualified and expert in the performance of such <br /> <br />services: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the law firm of Rogers, Vizzard & Tallett is hereby <br /> <br /> <br />retained by the City of Redwood City for the performance of <br /> <br /> <br />expert legal services and associated with the City Attorney <br /> <br />in connection with certain condemnation proceedings instituted <br /> <br />by the City of Redwood City relating to the Strategic Consolidation <br /> <br />Sewerage Plan, titled "City of Redwood City v. Jay Franklin <br />Sa1aman, et a1~', No. 151818, in accordance with and subject to <br /> <br />the terms and conditions of that certain letter agreement by <br /> <br />and between said law firm of Rogers, Vizzard & Tallett and the <br />City of Redwood City, a copy of which letter agreement is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br /> <br />made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions <br /> <br />thereof, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
