<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CGM:yc:9/25/70 <br /> <br />OaJGlr~AL <br /> <br />.,J <br /> <br />Sfp 28 70 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. ~J?t:) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR RELOCATION <br />OF WATER FACILITIES NEAR THE REDWOOD HARBOR OVER- <br />CROSSING ON THE BAYSHORE FREEWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has requested the city of <br /> <br />Redwood City to relocate a 12 inch water main near the Redwood <br /> <br />Harbor Overcrossing on Route 101, Bayshore Freeway, to facilitate <br /> <br />the State's freeway construction in that area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />by and between the State of California and the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City whereby the State agrees to reimburse the City for 100 <br /> <br />per cent of City's expenditures incurred for the relocation of <br /> <br />said water main; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Tha.t certain utilities agreement entitled lIutilities <br /> <br />Agreement No. 112.63.4, II by and between the State of California, <br /> <br />Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, and the City <br /> <br />of Redwood city, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the city Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
