<br />~ <br /> <br />DES.ek 9/18/70 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />SEP 21 '7/} <br /> <br />REE-OLUT!.ON <br /> <br />N O. ~.??f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS <br />BY THE BELMONT COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AND THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a <br />supplement to that certain agreement by and between the Belmont <br /> <br />County Water District and the City of Redwood City, dated <br /> <br />August 8, 1967, providing for temporary water service to the <br /> <br />City, extending the term of said agreement, subject to certain <br /> <br />terms and conditions: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve said supplemental agreement and authorize its <br /> <br />execution: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Supplement to Agreement <br /> <br />for Joint Exercise of Powers by the Belmont County Water District <br /> <br />and the City of Redwood City," by and between the Belmont County <br /> <br />Water District and the City of Redwood City, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved <br /> <br />and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br /> <br />same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
