<br />,::," <br /> <br />DES.ek 7/28/70 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />OR\G\NAL <br /> <br />.-. <br />. <br /> <br />R E .e. 0 L U T..!. 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 6 :f'f? <br /> <br />AUG 3 '7tJ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS IN'I'ENTION TO, <br />INITIATE, PURSUANT TO PETITION, PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO <br />SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY~ DESCRIBING <br />SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME 1I0AK KNOLL <br />MANOR NO.5 - ANNEXATION": MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS <br />RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS: AND, GIVING NOTICE OF THE <br />TI~ffi AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID <br />ANNEXATION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local <br /> <br />Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, <br /> <br />a written description of a proposal to annex to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City all that territory which is hereinafter described: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing that, <br />t <br /> <br />and finds that, said Local Agency Formation Commission has <br /> <br />prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report to said Council <br /> <br />upon said annexation proposal, all as required by law, and that <br /> <br />said con~ission has approved said proposed annexation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing <br /> <br />and finds: <br /> <br />(1) That said territory is situate imrnediat'ely adjacent <br /> <br />to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City: and <br /> <br />(2) That less than 12 registered voters presently reside <br /> <br />within said territory and that said terri tory is therefore <br /> <br />uninhabited; and <br /> <br />(3) That the petition proposing said annexation has been <br />signed by the owners of not less than one-fourth of the land <br /> <br />in the territory proposed to be annexed by area and by assessed <br /> <br />value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />
