AUG 3 '7tJ RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS IN'I'ENTION TO, INITIATE, PURSUANT TO PETITION, PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY~ DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME 1I0AK KNOLL MANOR NO.5 - ANNEXATION": MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS: AND, GIVING NOTICE OF THE TI~ffi AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, a written description of a proposal to annex to the City of Redwood City all that territory which is hereinafter described: and WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing that, t and finds that, said Local Agency Formation Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report to said Council upon said annexation proposal, all as required by law, and that said con~ission has approved said proposed annexation; and WHEREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing and finds: (1) That said territory is situate imrnediat'ely adjacent to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City: and (2) That less than 12 registered voters presently reside within said territory and that said terri tory is therefore uninhabited; and (3) That the petition proposing said annexation has been signed by the owners of not less than one-fourth of the land in the territory proposed to be annexed by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo.
