<br />~. ~ <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:7/3l/70 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />AUG 3 '1" <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. ~/f7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SAN MATEO COUNTY ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY <br />COMMISSION AND "PROBE" COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, "PROBE" Conununity Center is engaged in programs <br /> <br />for the development and improvement of neighborhood and community <br /> <br />educational and economic opportunities of benefit to and in <br /> <br />furtherance of the public order, health, welfare and morals in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, "PROBE" Conununity Center has requested the sum of <br /> <br />Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00), payable in two installments, <br /> <br />for use by "PROBE" Community Center in conducting its activities <br /> <br />under the direction of the San Mateo County Economic Opportunity <br /> <br />Commission during the fiscal year commencing July l, 1970, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 1971; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to the San Mateo County Economic Opportunity <br /> <br />commission for use by "PROBE" Community Center the sum of Eight <br /> <br />Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00), payable in two installments, <br /> <br />during the aforesaid fiscal year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City, the <br /> <br />San Mateo County Economic Opportunity Commission, and "PROBE" <br /> <br />Conununity Center, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l.
