<br />....- ~ . . <br /> <br />L_,_ <br /> <br />~~GM:mm 6/19/70 <br /> <br />OR1G\NAl <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T .! 0 N N O. <br /> <br />~~i'.2J <br /> <br />JUN 22 '70 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE <br />I-TON TRUCK WITH UTILITY BODY AND COMPRESSOR UNIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6306, adopted June 1, <br /> <br />1970 the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />I-ton truck with utility body and compressor unit"to be used <br /> <br />for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ,pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, prindle International, Inc.~ Redwood City, <br /> <br />california, is the lowest responsible bidder, for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said one I-ton truck with utility body and compressor unit, and <br /> <br />i~. is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to said prindle International, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of prindle ~nternational, Inc., in the total net <br /> <br />delivered price to the city of Redwood City of Eight thousand <br /> <br />Four hundred thirty-five and OO/lOO Dollars ($8,435.00) for <br /> <br />the furnishing of one I-ton truck with utility body and <br /> <br />compressor unit in accordance with the specifications therefor,t. <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. .Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof are hereby waived. <br /> <br />3. Any and all other bids received by the. city of Redwood <br /> <br />city for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, <br /> <br />other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby <br /> <br />rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
