OHIGIN,AL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PURCHASE OF JUN ::j '7() CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF AN UNIMPROVED ROADWAY COMMONLY KNOWN AS CANYON LANE, IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA: AND, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION OF SAID ACQUISITION WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the acquisi- tion by the City of Redwood City of a fee simple interest in certain real property located in the vicinity of an unimproved roadway commonly known as canyon Lane, in the City of Redwood City, for public park and other municipal purposes: and WHEREAS, the purchase price of said real property exceeds the sum of $2,000; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the acquisition of said real propertY1 NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the acquisition of the hereinafter described real property is necessary and desirable for municipal purposes. 2. That the city Manager is authorized to do all acts necessary to acquire the hereinafter described real property on behalf of the City of Redwood City, in accordance with the provisions of the charter and laws of the City of Redwood City for a total purchase price not to exceed the appraised value thereof. 3. That the property to be acquired is that certain real property in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Lots 28, 29 and 30, as shown on that certain map entitled "Emerald Lake Park Map No.4, being a resubdivision of Portions of Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Block 29, Oak'Kno11 Manor, San ,Mateo County, California," filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on May 12, 1920 in Book 10 of Maps at page 32.
