The sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500~00) heretofore <br /> <br />appropriated to the appropriation for community promotion for <br /> <br />the fiscal year July I, 1969 - June 30, 1970, is hereby author- <br /> <br />ized to be expended for the purpose of sponsoring the Redwood <br /> <br />City Juventus Junior Soccer Team in championship competition <br /> <br />during the calendar year 1970, and the City Manager and Treasurer <br /> <br />are hereby directed to issue and sign an appropriate instrument <br /> <br />of payment providing for such expenditure. <br /> <br />2. The sum authorized and directed to be expended here- <br /> <br />under shall be paid to the aforesaid Juventus Junior Soccer Team <br /> <br />upon the express condition that said soccer team shall use said <br /> <br />sum for the purposes herein stated, and in the event said sum <br /> <br />is not so used, said soccer team shall repay to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City the entire amount thereof. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
