"1/1 <br /> <br />JUtI 8 '10 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />RODENT CONTROL PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6142, adopted May <br /> <br />18, 1970, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of <br /> <br />a contract for the performance of destroying rodents in the <br /> <br />natural drainage channels, sanitary sewers, and at the <br /> <br />Municipal Marina, in the city of Redwood city for 1970-1971: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said contract; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SURE-KILL EXTERMINATORS, of Cupertino, Calif- <br /> <br />ornia, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said contract <br /> <br />to said Sure-Kill Exterminators; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the bid of Sure-Kill Exterminators, in the <br /> <br />total amount of Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-two and <br /> <br />33/100 Dollars ($4,172.33), more or less, computed in accord- <br /> <br />ance with bidder's proposal dated June 1, 1970, for the <br /> <br />performance of the work necessary to accomplish the destruction <br /> <br />of rodents in the city of Redwood City, California, in accord- <br /> <br />ance with the specifications approved by Resolution No. 6142, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted. Any irregularities or informalities <br /> <br />that may be Qontained in said bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. That the city Manager be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood city that certain agreement entitled IIAgreement <br />
