DES:em 3/20/70 ORIGlN,AL RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. b"; ~J HAR 23 '10: RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEHENT WITH SP,}J MATEO COUNTY ECONOMIC CO~1ISSION AND PROBE CO~~UNITY CENTER WHEREAS, the City of Redwood city, the San, Mateo County Economic Opportunity Commission, and Probe Community Center have heretofore entered into an agreement dated November 4~ 1969, for the payment by the city to the Commission for use by Probe Co~~unity Center of the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and WHEREAS, Probe Community Center has request(l the additional amount of Two Thousand Dollars ($2.000.00) for use during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1969 and ending June 30, 1970; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the aforesaid request, and .there has been prese~ted to this Council for approval a supple- mental agreement providing for the payment of said additional sum; and VffiEREAS, this Council has found and determined that the public interest, necessity and convenience require the expenditure of said additional sum; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLL01.alS: ,1. That certain supplemental agreement entitled "Supplemental Agreementll by and between the' city of Redwood city, the San Mateo County Economic Opportunity Commission, and the Probe Community Center, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the city Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute ~ame for and on behalf of the City of Redwood city. * * * ~
