"~23 FfB 16 om RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, AND STATE OF CALIFORNIA (DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS) FOR CONSTRUCTION OF REVISED INTERSECTION AND TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM (INTERSECTION OF MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE -SAN CARLOS AVENUE WITH STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 114 [WOODSIDE ROAD]) WHEREAS, Massachusetts Avenue presently intersects... State. ~ Highway Route 114 (woodside Road) approximately 100 feet southerly of San Carlos Avenue creating an offset intersect~on; and WHEREAS, the State of California, acting by and through its Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has contracted for the construction of public improvements on woodside Road and in the vicinity of the aforesaid intersection; and WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, proposes that a cooperative agreement be entered by and between the City of Redwood city, the County of San Mateo, and the State of California, for the con- struction of a revised intersection and traffic control system at the aforesaid intersection, a copy of which agreement is attached hereto, and marked II Exhibit A"; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed said agreement and is familiar with the contents thereof, and desires to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That that- certain cooperative agreement by and bet\'ieen the City of Redwood City, the County of San Mateo, and the State of california, in the form of "Exhibit A, II attached hereto, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement, with attestation by the City Clerk, for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * *
