DES:yc:l/2/70 ORIGINAL JAM 5 'W RES 0 L UTI 0 N ----------- N O. klE2( RESOLUTION DECLARING CERT1\.IN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS, AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE, SUBJ.ECT 'ro RETENTION OF EASEMENT, WITHOUT PUBLIC NOTICE OR BID WHEREAS, the city of Redwood City is the owner in fee of the hereinafter described real propertYi and WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the herein- after described real property.is not needed for present or prospective municipal purposes, provided, however, that the City retain an easement interest therein for storm drainage purposes; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to sell the hereinafter described real property in accordance \.,ith section 3-1/2 of the' Charter of the City of Redwood city at the current market value therefor as. determined by the city Assessor; NON, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLO\^lS: 1. That this Council hereby finds and determines that a fee interest in the herein.after des~cribed parcel of real property is not needed for present or future municipal purposes, provided, however, that the City retain an easement for storm drainage purposes therein, and hereby declares the fee interest in said real property (subject to retention of the easement aforesaid) to be surplus. 2. That this Council hereby finds and determines that the current market value of the fee interest (subject to retention of the easement aforesaid) in the hereinafter described parcel of real property is ~vo Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00). 3. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby -authorized
