BETTS AND <br />ASSOCIATES FOR FINANCIAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CIVIC <br />CENTER COMPLEX) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Bert A. Betts and <br /> <br />Associates have heretofore entered into an agreement for financial <br /> <br />consulting services, entitled "Agreement - Financial Consulting <br /> <br />Services (Civic Center Complex)," dated January 21, 1969~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, paragraph 3 of said agreement provides for <br /> <br />compensation for the consulting services referred to therein by <br /> <br />lump sum payment within 30 days of submission of Bert A. Betts <br /> <br />and Associates' report referred to therein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Bert A. Betts and <br /> <br />Associates desire and agree to provide for a more equitable <br /> <br />method of payment relating to said 'consulting firm's services <br /> <br />furnished prior to submission of said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />amendment to the aforesaid agreement by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and the firm of Bert A. Betts and Associates, <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the" same,; and 'j.authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain amendment to agreement entitled "Amendment to <br /> <br />Agreement - Financial Consulting Services (Civic Center Complex)," <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and the firm of Bert A. <br /> <br />Betts and Associates, financial consultants, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is made for the full terms and conditions thereof, <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood city. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
