<br />. , DES:yc:lO/16/69 <br />4- <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ~/3~_ OCT 20 19 <br />RESOLUT1.0N N o. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF TWIN DOLPHIN PARKWAY/SECTION 1, MARINE WORLD <br />PARKWAY/SECTION 2, AND BRIDGE PARKWAY/SECTION 2, FOR <br />REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64; <br />AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RETURN ALL SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS TO BIDDERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6089, adopted September 3, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br />Twin Dolphin parkway/Section 1, Marine World parkway/section 2, <br />and Bridge Parkway/section 2 (645-4-48) for General Improvement <br /> <br />District No. 1-64 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, oids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Manager for the construction of said <br /> <br />improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />reject all bids received pursuant to said call and to authorize <br /> <br />and direct the City Clerk to return all security deposits received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. Any and all bids received under date of September 24, <br /> <br />1969, by the City of Redwood City for the construction of <br />Twin Dolphin Parkway/Section 1, Marine World Parkway/Section 2, <br /> <br />and Bridge Parkway/Section 2, for Redwood City General Improvement <br />District No. 1-64, authorized by Resolution No. 6089, are hereby <br /> <br />rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />return all security deposits received in connection with said <br /> <br />bids to the bidders submitting said bids. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
