<br />i) .... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />OCt 20 .69 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. b I 3 S- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> <br />OAK KNOLL - CANYON LANE & VICINITY <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, in open <br /> <br />session, on October 20, 1969, did publicly open, examine and de- <br /> <br />clare all sealed proposals or bids for doing all the work and <br /> <br />making all the improvements 'described in Resolution of Intention <br />No. 6107 of said Council, passed and adopted by said Council on <br />September 22, 1969, to which resolution reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for further particulars; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That said Council hereby rejects all proposals or bids <br /> <br />for doing the work of making the improvements described in said <br /> <br />Resolution of Intention No. 6107, except that the next herein <br /> <br />mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and <br /> <br />making said improvements to the l.owest, regular, responsible <br /> <br />bidder, to wit, <br /> <br />Wenrick and Associates, 519 Hamilton Avenue, <br /> <br />Menlo Park, California <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />at the price specified in the bid submitted by said lowest, regular, <br /> <br />responsible bidder, to which bid reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />further particulars. <br /> <br />2. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby authorized, under <br /> <br />the conditions stated herein, to order changes in the work and <br /> <br />improvements mentioned in Paragraph 1 hereof, provided, however, <br /> <br />that any change order shall not exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), <br /> <br />shall be in writing, and shall be consented to in writing by the <br /> <br />contractor, and shall be ordered only after construction has begun <br /> <br />1. <br />
