OCT 13 '60' RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DEPUTY CITY TREASURER TO EXERCISE ALL PO~vlERS, PERFORM ALL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS, AND ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OFFICE OF CITY TREASURER DURING VACANCY OF SAID OFFICE WHEREAS, the retirement of the present City Clerk-Treasurer- Collector, Helen C. Moore, will be effective after October 31, 1969; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to authorize the Deputy City Treasurer, Harriet Drivon, to exercise all powers, perform all duties and functions, and assume all responsibilities of the office of City Treasurer during such time as said office, or any consolidated office including therein the office of City Treasurer, is vacant as occasioned by Mrs. Moore's retirement; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Harriet Drivon, Deputy City Treasurer of the City of Redwood City, is hereby authorized to exercise all powers, perform all duties and functions, and assume all responsibilities of the office of City Treasurer of the City of Redwood City as provided in the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the general laws of the state of California, and the ordinances, resolutions, orders and directions of the Council of the City of Redwood City. 2. This authorization shall be effective on and after November 1, 1969, and shall continue, unless earlier terminated by action of this Council, until such time as the office of City Treasurer, or any consolidated office including therein the office of City Treasurer, is filled by appointment of this Council pursuant to the Charter of the City of Redwood City. * * *
