OCT 13 '6 RESOLUT1.0N N o. 61J.fJ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DEPUTY.CITY CLERK TO EXERCISE ALL POWERS, PERFORM ALL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS, AND ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OFFICE OF CITY CLERK DURING VACANCY OF SAID OFFICE WHEREAS, the retirement of the present City Clerk-Treasurer- Collector, Helen C. Moore, will be effective after October 31, 1969; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to authorize the Deputy City Clerk, Marian McCrindle, to exercise all powers, perform all duties and functions, and assume all responsibilities of the office of City Clerk during such time as said office, or any consolidated office including therein the office of City Clerk, is vacant as occasioned by Mrs. Moore1s retirement; NO~'l, THEREF ORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDvvOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Marian McCrindle, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Redwood Ci.ty, is hereby authorized to exercise all powers, perform all duties and functions, and assume all responsibilities of the office of City Clerk of the City of Redwood City as provided in the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the general laws of the state of California, and the ordinances, resolutions, orders and directions of the Council of the City of Redwood City. 2. This authorization shall be effective on and after November 1, 1969, and shall continue, unless earlier terminated by action of this Council, until such time as the office of City Clerk, or any consolidated office including therein the office of City Clerk, is filled by appointment of this Council pursuant to the Charter of the City of Redwood City. * * *
