<br />'1 <br />"" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT:yc:9/18/69 <br />ORIf\ 1 ?;,\ !i L <br />\\JliI4h <br /> <br />ft;(/~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE <br />FAIR OAKS SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT RELATING TO <br />VETERANS BOULEVARD INTERCEPTING SEWER IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1947, an agreement was entered into by the Board <br /> <br />of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District and the City of <br />Redwood City for the joint construction and use of joint outfall, <br /> <br />pumping plant, and treatment works sewer facilities and systems; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said agreement provided that from time to time it <br /> <br />might be changed, altered, or amended by mutual agreement of the <br /> <br />parties thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that both the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District require an <br /> <br />interceptor sewer to be located generally in Veterans Boulevard <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 9. supplemental agreement between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District has been presented <br /> <br />to this Council, and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOREi <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Supplemental Agreement <br /> <br />to Sanitary Sewerage Agreement between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District (Veterans Boulevard <br /> <br />Intercepting Sewer)," by and between the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance <br /> <br />District and the City of Redwood City, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br />is presently on file in the offices of the Department of Public <br />
