<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT:yc:9/18/69 <br />OHJGH"JAL <br /> <br />RE~OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />NO. , II I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />BROADWAY CHANNELIZATION AND SIGNALIZATION AT WOODSIDE <br />EXPRESSWAY IMPROVEMENTS; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE CONTRACT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6078, the City Clerk <br /> <br />called for bids for the construction of certain improvements <br /> <br />involving the Broadway channelization and signalization at <br /> <br />Woodside Expressway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, ROSENDIN ELECTRIC COMPANY, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Rosendin Electric <br /> <br />CompanYi <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Rosendin Electric Company, in the total <br /> <br />amount of Two Thousand Three Hundred and Sixty Dollars ($2,360), <br /> <br />more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated September 17, 1969, for the construction of the Broadway <br /> <br />channelization and signalization at Woodside Expressway, in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, according to plans and specifications <br />therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph I hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />.~ <br />
