<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:7/lS/69 <br /> <br />OR\G\NAL <br /> <br />SEP 8 .4P <br /> <br />RESOLUT.!.ON <br /> <br />NO. fao~S- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />(UNDERGROUND UTILITIES COORDINATION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires certain engineering <br /> <br />consulting services relating to the coordination of installation <br /> <br />and construction of underground public utility facilities in <br /> <br />connection with the construction of public improvements in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, KENWARD S. OLIPHANT, Engineering Consultant, has <br /> <br />represented to the City of Redwood City that he is qualified to <br /> <br />perform the aforesaid expert engineering consulting services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Kenward S. Oliphant <br /> <br />desire to enter into an agreement for said consultant to furnish <br /> <br />the City with the aforesaid services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Kenward S. Oliphant, entitled "Agreement for Consulting Engineering <br /> <br />Services (Underground utilities Coordination)," copies of which <br /> <br />are presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copies reference is hereby made, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the same for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
