<br />.' <br /> <br /> <br />~ ... , <br /> <br />-....--- . ....- -, " ....,-- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />O\~':=,~~l r! <br />_....~.1..... ...... <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 6tJ 7" <br /> <br />AOO 25 09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY.. <br />FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PROTEST TO THE PROPOSED <br />ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF RED\'100D CITY OF CERTAIN <br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED "LAKEVIE1d ,"'-IAY ANNEXATION NO. 2" <br />HAS NOT BEEN MADE BY PUBLIC AND/OR PRIVATE OWNERS OF <br />ONE-HALF OF THE VALUE OF SAID TERRITORY AS SHOWN BY <br />THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, on the <br /> <br />14th day of July, 1969, adopted its Resolution No. 6041, wherein <br /> <br />it declared its intention to call a special election in certain <br /> <br />inhabited territory contiguous to the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purpose of submitting to the electors residing in said terri- <br /> <br />tory the question whether or not said territory shall be annexed <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City and the property in the territory <br /> <br />subjected to taxation after annexation equally with property <br /> <br />within the City of Redwood City to pay the bonded indebtedness <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City outstanding or authorized, at the <br /> <br />date of the first publication of the notice of election, for <br /> <br />the acquisition, construction or completion of municipal improve~ <br /> <br />ments, and wherein it designated said territory as "Lakev:j..ew Way <br /> <br />Annexation No.2," and wherein it gave notice that on the 11th <br /> <br />day of August, 1969, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the <br /> <br />Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, <br /> <br />Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, any person owning <br /> <br />real property within. said territory so proposed to be annexed <br /> <br />could appear before said Council and show cause why such terri- <br /> <br />tory should not be annexed to the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHER&~S, said Council finds that the City Clerk of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City has caused a copy of said resolution to be <br /> <br />published as directed by said Council and as required by law, <br /> <br />and has further caused a written notice of such proposed annexa- <br /> <br />tion to be mailed to all persons, if any, to whom such notice is <br /> <br />\ <br />
