<br />/ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />i. <br /> <br />JHT:yc:7/23/69 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />.... <br /> <br />AUG 4 'W <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO. 6010).. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD <br />FOR SERVICES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS FOR THE CLASSIFIED <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been recommended to this Council that the <br /> <br />State Personnel Board be retained to perform. services incident <br /> <br />to the planning, scheduling, preparation, construction, and rating <br /> <br />of written examinations for the classified services, and to <br /> <br />perform other special services in connection with examinations: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agree- <br /> <br />ment between the City and the State Personnel Board for the <br /> <br />performance of such services, which agreement is similar in <br /> <br />nature to the one in operation for the past three years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, ..THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement, including ExhiOits)A and B thereof <br /> <br />and the Fair Employment Practices Addendum thereto, between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the State Personnel Board, a copy of <br /> <br />which is attached hereto marked "Exhibit I" and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />
