RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PURCHASE OF CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF OAK KNOLL DRIVE AND CANYON LANE, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA~ AND, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION OF SAID ACQUISITION WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the acquisition by the City of Redwood City of a fee simple interest in certain unimproved real property located in the general vicinity of Oak Knoll Drive and C~nyon Lane, in the City of Redwood city, for municipal purposes: and WHEREAS, the purchase price of said real property exceeds the sum of $2,000; and WHEREAS, it is the intention'and desire of this Council to approve the acquisition of said real property; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLO~\TS: 1. That the acquisition of the hereinafter described real prope~ty is necessary and desirable for municipal purposes., 2.~ That the City Manager is authorized to do. all act~~. necessary to acquire the hereinafter described real property on behalf of the city of Redwood City, in accordance with the provisions of the Charter and laws of the city of Redwood City. 3.
