ORIGINAL' 1100419 RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. l,osR RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE II, AT Crn1MUNITY ACTIVITIES BUILDING: REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED: AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRAcr FOR SAID vlORKi AND, DIRECTI~G RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6027, adopted July 7, 1969, the'City Clerk called for bids for the construction of Phase II of parking lot improvements at the Community Activities Building in the City of Redwood CitYi and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk: and WHEREAS, FISK, FIRENZE AND McLEAN, INC., San Carlos, Calif~rnia, is the lowest responsible b~dder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Fisk" Firenze and McLean, 'Inc.: NOW, THEREFORE i BE IT RESOLVED BY ,THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOvlS: 1. The bid of FISK, FIRENZE AND McLEAN, INC., in the total amount of Twenty-four Thousand Three Hundred Nine and 40/l00 Dollars ($24,309.40), more or less, computed ~n accordance with bidder1s proposal dated July 30, 1969, for the construction of Phase II of parking lot improvements at the Community Activities Building in the clty of Redwood City, in accordance with the 'plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City C~erk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to' be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. Any und all bids received by the City of Redwood City for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. 3. Any informality in the bid of Fisk, Firenze and McLean, Inc., is hereby waived.
