Louis Chess, and wish to acknowledge <br /> <br />upon the records of this city the loss that his passing has <br /> <br />caused; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the life of T. Louis Chess was one of dedicated <br /> <br />public service, his energies being directed toward serving his <br /> <br />community in many capacities as a public official, notably <br /> <br />as a long-time and reveredmernber of the San Mateo Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors, as well as an active member of civic organizations, <br /> <br />and as a private citizen; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, his many contributions and services to this <br /> <br />community will be remembered with appreciation by the entire <br /> <br />community; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY., <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That this Council does hereby pause in the conduct of its <br /> <br />business to make solemn tribute to the memory of T. Louis Chess; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the members of this Council do hereby extend their <br /> <br />-condolences to the family of T.
