ORIGINAL <br />f., .u. 7 .~ <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. b OJ. ~ <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT <br />OF CONSERVATION, DIVISION OF FORESTRY, PROVIDING FOR <br />EXCHANGE OF FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council an agreement for mutual fire protection aid between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the State of California, Department of <br /> <br />Conservation, Division of Forestry: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is to the mutual advantage and benefit of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the State of California to render <br /> <br />supplemental assistance through their respective Fire Departments <br /> <br />in the event an emergency fire protection situation arises: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize execution of the same for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Mutual <br /> <br />Fire Protection Aid," by and between the City of Redwood 'City <br /> <br />and the State of California, Department of Conservation, Division <br /> <br />of Forestry, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk and by this reference incorporated herein, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning <br /> <br />the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
