<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:6/5/69 <br /> <br />.ORIGINAl <br /> <br />JUN 9 '69 <br /> <br />R E ~ 0 L U TI 0 N NO. b 0 () R <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE OF INTENTION <br />TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY <br />DESIGNATED LAKEVIEW WAY ANNEXATION NO. 2 AND AN <br />AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF; AND APPROVING THE <br />CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 27, 1969, there was filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk of the City of Redwood City a copy of a notice of intention <br /> <br />to circulate a petition relating to annexation of certain territory <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City, under the Annexation Act of 1913, <br /> <br />pertaining to territory designated as "Lakeview Way Annexation <br /> <br />No.2" accompanied by a written statement containing reasons <br /> <br />for the petition together with an affidavit of publication of <br /> <br />said notice in the Redwood City Tribune; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the <br /> <br />legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt <br /> <br />of the notice and approving the circulation of the petition; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the receipt of the notice, statement and affidavit <br /> <br />is hereby acknowledged, and that approval is hereby given for <br /> <br />the circulation of the petition for annexation of that territory <br /> <br />designated "Lakeview way Annexation No.2," 21 days after the <br /> <br />publication of said notice and statement. <br /> <br />2.
