<br />" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT: Im:6/9/69 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUN 9 .~ <br /> <br />RE~OLUT1.0N No.~()ef. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR FREEWAY MAINTENANCE BETWEEN THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FREEWAY <br />CONNECTION BETWEEN MARINE WORLD PARKWAY AND THE REDWOOD <br />CITY-BELMONT CORPORATE LIMIT LINE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 11, 1968, a freeway agreement was <br /> <br />executed between the State of California and the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City for the improvement of connections to Bayshore <br /> <br />Freeway from Marine World parkway: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these freeway interchange improvements are <br /> <br />nearing completion, and Redwood City and the State of California <br /> <br />desire to clarify their respective maintenance responsibilities <br /> <br />as to separation structures, City streets, and landscaping <br /> <br />within the State owned boundaries: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />State of California which sets forth the maintenance respon- <br /> <br />sibilities in the City of Redwood City at Ralston Avenue <br /> <br />overcrossing Marine World Parkway, and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of thas Council to approve said agreement and <br /> <br />authorize its execution: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOIDD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Freeway Maintenance <br /> <br />Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />State of California, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the Office of the City Clerk to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms <br /> <br />and conditions thereof, is hereby approved and the Mayor <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed~ to execute the same for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
