<br />.~ <br /> <br />.,. <br /> <br />DES:em:5/l3/69 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br />---------- <br /> <br />S'171 <br /> <br />MAY 12 'W <br /> <br />r~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF FIVE <br />LATEST MODEL POLICE VEHICLES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5956, adopted April 14, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of five <br /> <br />latest model, 8 cylinder, 4 door sedan automobiles to be used <br /> <br />for law enforcement purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to said E-Z Davies Chevrolet. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z Davies Chevrolet, in the total net delivered <br /> <br />price to the City of Redwood City of Ten Thousand Two Hundred <br /> <br />Twenty and 95/100 Dollars ($10,220.95), for the furnishing of <br /> <br />five latest model, 8 cylinder, 4 door sedan automobiles, in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> <br />than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
