' <br /> <br />.t <br /> <br />~$"1l9 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RErnvOOD CITY <br />GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO, <br />INITIATE, PURSUANT TO PETITION, PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO <br />SA~D CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY; DESCRIBING <br />SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNi\TING IT BY THE NAME II EASTVIEW <br />ANNEXATION NO.. I"; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS RESPECTING <br />SAID PROCEEDINGS; AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIME AND <br />PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local <br /> <br />Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, <br /> <br />a written description of a proposal to annex to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood city all that territory which is hereinafter describedj <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing that, <br /> <br />and finds that, said Local Agency Formation Commission has <br /> <br />prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report, to said Council <br /> <br />upon said annexation proposal, all as required by law, and that <br /> <br />said Commission has approved said proposed annexationj and <br /> <br />~~EREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing <br /> <br />and finds: <br /> <br />(1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent <br /> <br />to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the city <br /> <br />of Redwood citYj and <br /> <br />(2) That less than 12 registered voters presently reside <br /> <br />within said territory and that said territory is therefore <br /> <br />uninhabited; <br /> <br />(3) That the petition proposing said annexation has been <br /> <br />signed by the owners of all the land in the territory proposed <br /> <br />to be annexed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />1.
