<br />~ <br /> <br />I ~ I · <br /> <br />, <br />,- <br /> <br />;,' <br /> <br />;- ~ {" '7 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGIrVAL <br /> <br />APR 28 'tiS <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />~1b7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS <br /> <br />BEL AIR WAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City did on <br />February 10, 1969, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. <br />5895, declaring its intention to order the accomplishment of <br /> <br />certain street improvements and related work on a portion of Bel <br /> <br />Air Way in the City of Redwood City pursuant to the Improvement <br /> <br />Act of 1911, as amended, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code of the State of California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said intention said Council did on <br />February 10, 1969, pass and adopt Resolution No. 5897 ordering <br /> <br />call for bids for said street imp~ovements; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Council has heretofore, on April 28, 1969, <br /> <br />adopted Resolution No. <br /> <br />5966 <br /> <br />, entitled "Resolution Ter- <br /> <br />minating and Abandoning Proceedings", by the terms of which said <br /> <br />Council has determined to terminate and abandon the proceedings <br /> <br />for the accomplishment of the abovementioned work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Said Council hereby rejects any and all bids or pro- <br /> <br />posals received by it for the performance of the work of <br /> <br />accomplishing the improvements described in the abovementioned <br /> <br />Resolution of Intention No. 5895 relating to the improvements <br /> <br /> <br />and related work on a portion of Bel Air Way in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to <br /> <br />return to the respective bidders for said work all security <br />deposits received in connection with said bids. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * <br />
