S1S0 <br /> <br />APR 'I '9' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF JEFFERSON AVENUE-HIGHLAND AVENUE <br />IMPROVEMENTS; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br />FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction of certain improve- <br /> <br />ments on Jefferson Avenue and Highland Avenue, in the vicinity <br /> <br />of Fire Station No.4, in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> <br />signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to call <br /> <br />for bids for the construction of said improvements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Jefferson Avenue-Highland <br /> <br />Avenue Improvements," and those certain specifications entitled <br /> <br />IlGeneral Specifications and Special Provisions - Jefferson <br /> <br />Avenue-Highland Avenue Improvements (Vicinity of Fire station <br /> <br />No.4), Redwood City, California,1I prepared in the office of the <br /> <br />City Engineer and on file in the office of the City Engineer, <br /> <br />are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br /> <br />improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />IINotice to Contractorsll set forth in the above mentioned spec i- <br /> <br />fications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
