SCf'-l1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE <br />TRUCK MOUNTED HI-LIFT HYDRAULIC OPERATED AERIAL TOWER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5889, adopted January 7, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />truck mounted hi-lift hydraulic operated aerial tower, to be used <br /> <br />for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, UTILITY BODY COMPANY, Berkeley, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to said Utility Body Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Utility Body Company, in the total net delivered <br /> <br />price to the City of Redwood City of Nineteen Thousand six Hundred <br /> <br />Fifty-seven and 05/100 Dollars ($19,657.05), for the furnishing <br /> <br />of one truck mounted hi-lift hydraulic operated aerial tower, in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> <br />than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
