"".3, <br /> <br />~ 17 "89 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH DONALD FRANCIS HAINES-ZAVEN TATARIAN <br />& ASSOCIATES FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES (CIVIC <br />CENTER COMPLEX) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City intends to construct a <br /> <br />civic center complex and related facilities for the location and <br /> <br />operation of municipal governmental and related activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has heretofore obtained <br /> <br />certain studies and recommendations, and has retained financial <br /> <br />consultants and other advisors to assist the City in the planning <br /> <br />and construction of said civic center complex; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 'the City of Redwood City requires expert architectural <br /> <br />services for the planning, development and construction of said <br /> <br />civic center complex; and the firm of Donald Francis Haines-Zaven <br /> <br />Tatarian & Associates has represented to City that it is qualified <br /> <br />to perform such expert architectural services including the <br /> <br />preparation of schematic designs, design development documents, <br /> <br />construction documents, and construction administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and the firm of Donald <br /> <br />Francis Haines-Zaven Tatarian & Associates for the performance <br /> <br />of the architectural services aforesaid, and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and authorize <br /> <br />its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE crT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Architectural <br /> <br />Services - Civic Center Complex,1l by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the firm of Donald Francis Haines-Zaven Tatarian <br />
