S9:J.. ?>:~~-,.-. -- <br /> <br />RESOLurrION A\'7ARDING CONTR1\CT FOR FURNISHING P.ND INSTALLING <br />'.NE\~ LIGHrE FIXTURES IN REDfdOOD CITY t1..Z\IN LIBRARY i REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br />FOR SAID WORK; AND, DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5900, adopted February 10, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing and in- <br /> <br />stalling of new light fixtures in the Redwood city Nain Library; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing and installation of said. . <br /> <br />light fixtures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, COAST ELECTRIC COMPANY, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for said work and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Coast Electric Company; <br /> <br />NO~v, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~'iS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of COAST ELECTRIC COMPAN~,~in the lump sum <br />amount of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($2,954) <br />for Bid Item No.3, for the furnishing and installation of <br />new light fixtures in the adult, juvenile and lobby sections of <br />the Redwood City Main Library, in accordance with the specifica- <br />tions therefor, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />.' . <br /> <br />and installation of said light fixtures. <br /> <br />2. Any informality in the abovementioned bid of Coast <br /> <br />Electric Company is hereby waived. <br /> <br />3. Any and all other~bids received by the city of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty for said ~,.,ork other than the bid rnent ioned in paragraph 1 <br />hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
