8/13/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION <br />THREE (3) <br />AUTHORIZING <br />THEREFOR <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14 <br />ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />HARLEY- DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES; AND <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />the purchase of three (3) Harley- Davidson motorcycles for the Police Department <br />of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, Bob Dron Harley- Davidson Motorcycles, Inc. of Oakland, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br />Council to accept the bid of Bob Dron Harley- Davidson Motorcycles, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Bob Dron Harley- Davidson Motorcycles, Inc., in the total <br />amount of Forty -Five Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -Three and 24/100 Dollars <br />($45,753.24), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated July 18, <br />2001 for the sale of three (3) Harley- Davidson police motorcycles, which bid is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and <br />Reso -0104 1 <br />FXS -dr <br />G: /S h a red /S h a red /Redwood /Cou n ci I <br />08/02/01 <br />
